As part of the project “Developing Strategies to Adapt to Climate Change in Burundi through the promotion of natural resources ,renewable energy sources and innovative friendly technologies “,DSACC-BU ,AMEBE organized a training to beneficiaries of this project in Gatumba.The later focused on basic entrepreneurial skills.
This three-day training aimed at introducing participants to the creation and operation of cooperatives, training young beneficiaries on the ideal identification of an entrepreneurial project and on entrepreneurial project ‘s development and to incalculate them the effective implementation of entrepreneurial projects .Goreth Izerimana ,one of the participants in the training highly praised the good initiative of AMEBE in partnership with Caritas Austria. She appreciated the knowledge they got about business plan elaboration and financial education. What really struck her during this training was learning how to calculate profit after all expenses .”I used to work just to generate interest without taking into account the costs incurred to achieve it “,Goreth confided.”These teaching are of a paramount importance “,she added.Note that this project is implemented under the coordination of Caritas Steiermark.The training ended in harmony and the AMEBE team thanked all the participants.
