From March 13 to 15 ,2024,AMEBE organised a training sesssion on the transformation of agricultural waste into concentrated livestock feed towards 20 young peope gathered in a cooperative in Gatumba zone in Mutimbuzi commune.The later are beneficiaries of the DSACC-BU in that area , a project funded by the Ministry of Climate Action,Environment ,Energy,Mobility,Technology of the Republic of Austria .
This project is implemented in Burundi under the coordination of Caritas Steiermark .The ongoing training aims at instilling in participants technical skills to be able to produce concentrated livestock feed for pigs ,cows and rabbits .In addition,The session inculculated in participants the ability to interact with breeders and respond to their concerns related to the feeding of their livestock ,have precise information on necessary ingredients and formulas for the manufacture of concentrates of lives tock .The training reminded them to take into consideration the purchasing power of clients in order to be successful in their project.
