Kanyosha, July 2–3, 2025 – As part of DSACC-project, AMEBE organized a refresher training on basic entrepreneurship skills for members of COOPEKA and COOPAMI cooperatives. This initiative is funded by BMLUK (Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management of Republic of Austria) and implemented under the coordination of Caritas Austria.
Held over two days, the training focused on practical tools and strategies to help cooperative members scale up their projects related to ecological charcoal and energy efficient stoves production, especially as they are now in the operational phase.
A second component of the training revisited the internal functioning of cooperatives, emphasizing the roles and responsibilities of various cooperative bodies. Through self-assessment exercises, members evaluated their organizational structures and committed to making necessary adjustments to improve their governance and efficiency.

At the conclusion of the training, cooperative members expressed their satisfaction and appreciated the relevance of the sessions. They highlighted how the training not only renewed their entrepreneurial knowledge but also inspired a renewed commitment to teamwork and accountability within their respective cooperatives.
