𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐞. 𝐂𝐎𝐎𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐈 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞: 𝐏𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

COOPAMI is a cooperative based in Ruyaga Zone that manufactures improved stoves using advanced techniques. It is supported by the AMEBE organization with the aim of protecting the environment. Their activities are being implemented under the DSACC-BU project, which is backed by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management of Republic of Austria. The implementation of the project is overseen by Caritas Austria.

On August 6, 2025, we observed the techniques and methods used in the production of these improved stoves. These stoves are not only durable and efficient but also highly regarded by users who have already adopted them.

AMEBE continues to play a vital role in supporting the cooperative by regularly sending experts to enhance the members’ skills and introduce improved technologies. This ensures that the products remain reliable, durable, and locally made.
