On August 29, the organization AMEBE – Association of Mentors for Business and Entrepreneurship visited the #COOJMP Cooperative located in Rubirizi Zone, which specializes in Concentrated Poultry feed Processing. This cooperative manufactures poultry feed from leftover or discarded food materials, thereby contributing to environmental protection. The visit was organized as part of a monitoring mission to follow up on the progress of activities and ensure that operations are running smoothly and without obstacles.
The cooperativeโs work is carried out within the framework off the DSACC project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management of Republic of Austria and coordinated by Caritas Austria.
The activities are progressing well, and COOJMP is showing positive results. Local community members have expressed satisfaction, noting how what used to be waste has now been transformed in a source of income.
