Last week, at Kanyosha, AMEBE, as part of the implementation of the DSACC-BU project, funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology(BMK) and coordinated by Caritas Austria, held an incredible training session on ecological improved stoves manufacturing for the members of COOPAMI cooperative. In his opening remarks, the field officer motivated participants to fully engage in the training. Over the five days, they learned everything from preparing clay, molding it, to the techniques required for successful stove production. The hands-on training empowered participants with practical skills, allowing them to produce their own energy-efficient stoves right there during the session!

These stoves are not just better for the environment by reducing emissions, but they also save on fuel costs and improve health by minimizing smoke. At the end of the training, all participants expressed their appreciation for the valuable skills learned, which will have a real impact in their daily lives by not only preserving the environment but also increasing their incomes . 🌍

We are proud of the dedication shown by COOPAMI members and grateful to BMK for supporting this initiative. Together, we are building a greener future.
