The project “Developing Strategies to Adapt to Climate Change through the promotion of natural resources ,renewable energy sources, innovative climate- friendly technologies “funded by the Federal Ministry of the Republic of Austria Climate Action,Environment,Energy ,Mobility, Innovation and Technology ,implemented by the consortium ,ODDBU/Caritas Bujumbura,AMEBE and OAVNR under the coordination of Caritas Steiermark,AMEBE works on green businesses which preserve natural resources and have a positive impact on the environment.
Within this perspective,AMEBE organized a training for beneficiaries of this project on basic entrepreneurial skills. This training took place in Mutimbuzi Commune, Rubirizi zone from December 20 to December 22,2023 on a group which will work on the production of poultry feed. The objective of the activity was to introduce participants to the notions of creation and operation of cooperatives, train young beneficiaries on identifying the idea of an entrepreneurial project ,and on the development of the entrepreneurial project as well as the implementation of the entrepreneurial project.
Lucie Nkengurukirimana,participant in this training ,saluted the AMEBE initiative. She also pointed out that what they learned during this training is very important .”I didn’t know where to start when it comes to doing a business”,she said.”But with these lessons,I am sure that with the knowledge acquired during this training even after the 3 years of the project I will be a le to continue my own project without problem», Lucie added. Lucie seized this opportunity to ask AMEBE and his partners to always be by their side and extend these teachings to other people for they are worth being known.
